Vacation to Oregon

We just returned home to Florida after visiting family and friends in Oregon for two weeks. We had such a great time. The reason we went was for Blake & Stephanie's wedding. We officially have a new sister!! The wedding was beautiful and we are excited for what the future holds for the new Petersen household. We also made a trip out to Cannon Beach with Mom & Dad Anderson; it was surprisingly sunny at the beach and we really enjoyed our visit there. I guess living in Florida for a year made us forget just how gorgeous Oregon really is!

Aubrey also met new friends (family she hadn't met yet as well) and got re-acquainted with some old friends (aka: Grandma Anderson in this photo).

Uncle Drew and Aubrey have a knack for making similar faces. This was just one example. :)

Grandpa Petersen and Aubrey shared jokes and laughed a lot with each other. Grandpa gets Aubrey giggling in ways we haven't seen her giggle before.

And, Aubrey had the pleasure of meeting Great-Grandma Gladys and Great-Grandma Nancy for the first time. I think this little girl is loved.
Aubrey also was able to spend some time with Auntie Shana and Uncle Geoff who hadn't had a chance to see her in person yet. What fun!

Aubrey is changing constantly. She rolls over, sucks her thumb, and is adding more facial expressions to her repertoire. She is such a joy to have around.

And here is one of the very few pictures I have from the wedding. Stephanie was such a gorgeous bride and Blake looked pretty good too. :) John & I were talking about how very blessed we are. Thank you, families, for making our vacation so fun.

Wedding

John, Aubrey & I drove up to Chattanooga, Tennessee, this weekend to celebrate with a couple who will soon be joining us here at flight school.

It was a mini-reunion of sorts for John. This is a picture of just some of the coasties who were there.

Yes, I am a very lucky girl.

Our first official family photo. We had a great weekend with friends; this wedding was a huge testament to the providence of God. We were very blessed.
