My boy with the big, blue eyes...7 years ago, in the middle of the night, you made your grand entrance into this world. I couldn't stop staring at this wonder-boy that had come into my world, and taken over my heart.

 Your eyes are always full of excitement, adventure, and a really good story, and I love that about you. Your heart is generous and so very big when it comes to helping someone who is smaller or unsure or just in need. I love that about you, too.

My kind-hearted, fun-loving, generous, rambunctious boy, you fill my heart with so much joy. Oh, the places you will go, sir. We pray you follow God's leading in your life and that the joy and zeal you have for His wonders will bring light to the darkest places.

We love you so very much. Happy birthday, our strong gift from God. 

Aubrey Grace

You turn nine today. Bam! Just like that. A snap of the fingers. Nine just sounds so old, so grown up, and every passing year seems to go by faster than the last.

Beautiful girl, the one my heart pined for, the one who made me a mommy, the one who captured our hearts from that very first meeting...you are lovely.

To our girl with the bright pink nails who splashes in puddles, we are so thankful for you. We pray that as you continue to grow in your knowledge and love of Jesus that you would also grow in confident joy that He created you just exactly as He wanted, and that that is enough.
