I'll be playing catch up for awhile, I'm sure. But after watching the kids spend hours pouring over our "family yearbooks," or, the blog posts I print out yearly, I am motivated to try to keep up with our life activities.
Mandy & I took our kids to the beach for a day. 7 kids, 1 car, 2 hours one way, 2 tired mamas.
Wave chasing was a favorite thing to do...
Easter Sunday: my favorite part was Papa's new tradition of putting names up on the cross in the backyard. One by one the kids came and handed Papa a piece of paper with their name on it.
It was such a poignant reminder of why Jesus died. And why we have such a great reason to celebrate him rising from the dead!
We finished out our school year with this fun bunch of friends.
And we entered baseball and volleyball season.
