Silver Falls

We went on a quick adventure to Silver Falls State Park and had a blast.

These two...goofballs.

And this is the phase of picture taking we are now in...
This is how Emmett feels about being hungry. Life is bleak when lunch is due.
 Nana and her Aubrey.
Apparently Emmett was thrilled with taking a break from cave exploring to get a picture with Mom.
 The caves were the best!

 My tiger.

We finished our hike with a foot soak in the stream.
I love these kids so very much.
 Up to something...always.

I am surprised every picture of Emmett does not look like this. He is always talking. Always. Even in his sleep.
 "Nana!"

Thankful for Friendships

These pictures are from way back in March when the two olders had their birthday parties. But I am so thankful for the answered prayers for good friends for these kids.

Spring and Early Summer!

I got to hang with this crazy bunch of fun kids at the Franz Bakery for a field trip.
I love when these guys find what they have in common...and do it with enthusiasm and peace. This day it was cowboys. They are the cutest.
Bryant and Stuart got to play baseball this year. Bryant, Jack, and Noah were on the same team, coached by Uncle Drew and Uncle Blake, and Stuart and Samuel were on the same team, coached by Uncle Blake and Mr. Jake.
We got to spend some time with these cuties. It is impossible, as evidenced here, to get a picture of all the kids looking.
Bryant was in his 2nd grade play...he was the groundhog.

Aubrey and Bryant both learned how to mow the pasture with the riding lawn mower. Bryant attempted to mow the backyard as well, but we scrapped that idea when my fence got rearranged. Maybe in a year or two?
The most beautiful farm girl around...
John began his exciting journey with Portland Fire and Rescue on June 15th.
Nana & Papa put up a swimming pool and these boys couldn't get enough.
The kids got to see what it's like to spray water out of a fire hose from the Clackamas County Fire Department.

Life is so much sweeter when we keep it simple. Kids are happier, mom is more sane, we are so blessed.
