Sweet Baby

Sweet baby in my arms.
Sleepy eyes, chubby fingers...
Who will you become?

So proud to hold a cup.
So quick to give a smile.
Who will you become?

Lullabies are softly sung,
Snuggles now but not for long...
Who will you become?

Sweet baby in my arms...
I promise not to hold too tight
To give you freedom to become
Everything God wants for you.

But tonight you are:

Sweet baby in my arms.
Sleepy eyes, chubby fingers,
proud to hold a cup, quick to give a smile.
Lullabies are softly sung
Snuggles now, but not for long.

Who will you become?

Thank you, Lord, for the reminder today of what a brief time I have with my Aubrey and Bryant. Help me to drop my projects joyfully in order to touch my children while they are here with me.

Aprons For Sale

I have found a hobby that I love to do besides, of course, spending my days with my kids. It is making these vintage-inspired aprons for little girls.

It's been fun for me to introduce Aubrey to the pleasure that can come from living simply and spending time at home: in our home the kitchen really is the heart. Is there a little girl in your life who might enjoy one of these aprons?

Whimsical Print

All of the aprons have eyelet lace on the bib and pockets.

Bluebells Print

Apples & Pears Print

All of these are quality, hand-crafted items, made by me. :) I sell them for $18.

Made in three sizes: Small (3-4), Medium (5-6), Large (7-8)

Includes: Tea towels (shown in pictures)
Wooden spoon
Cookie cutter

I will be making a separate blog soon where I hope to put up more as they get made. Please email me at johnandanna05@hotmail.com if you are interested in purchasing one of these aprons, or leave a message on here with your contact info and I will get in touch with you.
