The Anderson Kids

This is the comment we receive every time we have all 4 kids with us. "Well, you sure know which family they belong to." It's true the kids all have a striking resemblance to each other, and yet each started out with his/her own unique features. Super cute, if I do say so myself.

It's fun comparing the kids at their different ages and seeing how they change. And how they stay the same.

I've Been Busy

This blog has gone quiet lately...it's because I've been really busy. Doing very important things.

I've had football stars running around my house.
I've had sweet munchkins around to kiss.
I've had visits from Spiderman and G.I. Joe throughout the last few weeks. Aubrey even had them visit her at school one day when I went to pick her up!
I've had important tea parties, prepared especially for me.
And the most beautiful of ladies to dine with.
I've been terribly busy watching this, too.
I call him "Superman," because he sticks his arm up like this all.the.time. I think he's trying to fly.
At my doctor's visits before Emmett arrived they would always tell me, "This baby is just so happy." I told John I imagined him coming out with a big old smile on his face saying, "Isn't this just so great? I love you guys, I love the nurses, I love the doctor, I just love life."

Well, I've had to wait more weeks than I wanted to but this is Emmett's demeanor almost all day. Seriously I'm so in love.
Are there bigger and better things I wish I could be spending my days on? Nope. Not a chance. Thank you, Lord, for these blessings that make my heart swell.

My New Year Resolution

My New Year Resolution is to live this truth out this year. It's not much, but I do believe it will make a tremendous difference in my heart and the hearts of my husband and children.

"I know Who goes before me. I know Who stands behind. The God of angel armies is always by my side. The One who reigns forever, He is a friend of mine. The God of angel armies is always by my side."

Chris Tomlin - Whom Shall I Fear [God of Angel Armies] [Official Lyric Video] from chris-tomlin on GodTube.

"When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. 'Oh, my lord, what shall we do?' the servant asked. 'Don't be afraid,' the prophet answered. 'Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.' And Elisha prayed, 'O Lord, open his eyes so he may see.' Then the Lord opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha."         -2 Kings 6:15-17
