Mom & Dad's Visit

It is so fun to have visitors and still very hard to say goodbye. But, we had a great time with my parents this last week. John & Dad Petersen wired up the workshop out back so now John can have fun out there even when the sun's not shining. We also planted a miniature thunderstorm-proof flower garden and updated the house quite a bit.Aubrey is scooting now. If she sees something she wants, there is no stopping her. I guess a lot of people call what she is doing, "Army crawling." Our baby is on the move now.

Formation Flights

I wanted to give an update on where John is at in training. After 4 months of being "med down," he is back in the cockpit and back to flying. Today is he flying his second formation flight with his partner. This is a picture of what it looks like:

Pretty exciting, right? See how close they are? When you think of it, we always appreciate prayers for safety for our guys that are up there learning how to fly these planes.

John is doing very well in training. God has truly been faithful in taking John (& me) further than we would have ever been able to go on our own.

Busy Busy Girl

For those who didn't know, Aubrey and I made the trek out to Oregon for a few days to help my parents move and to visit family. We are back home now and we really hit the ground running! Aubrey is becoming more and more active and we are sure that as soon as she starts crawling we will truly be going non-stop! Here are just a few of the things we have been up to this last week: Eating toes
Cliff hanging

Escaping from the man-eating clam while having lunch with our friend, Vic Primeaux (she looks concerned, doesn't she?)

Standing off with Kristen

And playing with Kristen. :) It's been a busy week but we are glad to be back.
